Welcoming Ruxandra Dedu as Junior Mastering Engineer

We’re excited to officially announce Ruxandra Dedu as Junior Mastering Engineer at Montano Mastering.

Over the past six months, Ruxi has worked closely alongside Kristian Montano as assistant engineer, contributing to sessions while developing her mastering workflow through hands-on studio experience and mentorship.

Originally joining us from London’s renowned Dean St. Studios, Ruxi brings experience in recording engineering, post-production, Dolby Atmos mixing, and sound design. She is also a graduate of the University of York’s Music and Sound Recording program.

Since joining the studio, she has become an important part of our day-to-day operation - assisting with sessions, quality control, preparation, client support, and continuing to refine her own mastering approach under Kristian’s guidance.

As part of this next step, we’re excited to begin offering select projects directly with Ruxi through Montano Mastering.

At the studio, we strongly believe in mentorship, collaboration, and creating opportunities for the next generation of engineers. Watching Ruxi’s growth over the past months has been incredibly rewarding, and we’re excited for what’s ahead.
